Prayer Warriors

"Be careful for nothing: but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be known unto God."  Philippians 4:6

Prayer Warriors serve as the foundation for all that we do here at camp. We can really sense a difference when you are active in prayer. We thank the Lord for each and every one of our Prayer Warriors. Your prayers can and do make a difference!

Praise for:

• the prayers, encouragement and efforts of all Tay Valley Bible Camp supporters. You make a difference!  Thank you !!


• we are almost completed the work on Daniel Den. The walls are done and the ceiling is up. The power works and now the light fixtures need to be put back on. There is some trim work to be done but the cabin is comfortable and dry. Praise the Lord!
• Marwood has donated the wood to build a deck for the swimming pool and has already delivered it. Plans are in place to have it built before camp starts. Praise the Lord!
• the kitchen water heater has been replaced with a larger unit. A new two-tank regulator has been installed on the propane tanks to the kitchen stoves and water heater. Praise the Lord!
• some of the much needed painting has been finished and plans are in place to have the entire camp painted by fall. Praise the Lord!
• the new diesel generator has been ordered and is being built to arrive before camp starts. Praise the Lord!

Financial & Manpower Needs Be Met For:

• building and property maintenance projects
• chimney re-installation to several buildings
• roof repairs to several buildings
• staff/visitor washroom to be added onto Dining Hall facilities - a new septic field must also be installed

Additional Camp Needs:

• Washer spin dryer for sink room (110 V)
• Additional canoe for sports activities
• Various sized life vests (10 -15 required)
• Chain saw

Staff - Full time and Summer 2009:

• Tay Valley Evangelistic Association Inc. is seeking the Lord in the search for a live-in camp director and also a live-in caretaker. Please be in prayer for the Board of Directors as they seek God's wisdom!
• God would call the volunteer staff He wants and we need to facilitate the upcoming 2009 summer sessions - There are many positions to be filled.

Summer Camp 2009:

• a safe and successful 2009 summer session
• a unified staff
• Godly counselors and speakers
• God would lay upon the hearts of our speakers the message he wants our campers to hear and that God would prepare even now the hearts of our campers to hear the message.
• Wisdom and direction as we face the challenges of full camps and programs:

 Teen Camp
 Junior Camp
