Camping with a Purpose at Tay Valley Bible Camp

Staff/Volunteer Opportunities
The need is great, will you help?

"It takes many hands to make light work!"
Tay Valley Bible Camp depends heavily upon volunteers! Every building has been built with volunteer labor. Every child has been counseled by a volunteer counselor. Cooks, grounds-keepers, and window washers, etc., are also volunteers... We invite you to look through the different types of opportunities available and prayerfully consider if you might fill one or more.

Willing Hands Weekends Volunteers are needed for special building and maintenance projects. Check out the projects currently underway. If you personally, or your group would like to help out during a Willing Hands weekend, or any other date you may be available, please contact us! If you are available on dates we haven't scheduled, please let us know... we'll gladly make arrangements for your arrival!

Summer Staff Come volunteer to work as a cabin leader, or in the kitchen or dining hall, or as a maintenance person, etc., for a month, a week or even just a day or two. Whatever you feel you are capable of - time or energy wise.  Look through the various volunteer staff positions available for the upcoming summer 2010 sessions and apply today.

Short term worker status is for those who can commit to one to two years part-time, on-call service. Along with their main ministry assignment, they will be involved to some degree in pre-retreat duties and with maintenance or dining hall responsibilities prior to, during and after seasonal retreats and Willing Hands weekends.

Career workers  are those the Lord calls to make Tay Valley Bible Camp their full-time outreach. As a faith mission, career workers are not guaranteed support by Tay Valley Evangelistic Association, Inc. Live-in career staff, both Camp Director and Caretaker, are required to be on missionary support status, raising their own financial support through churches, friends, or other means.
